The router has been finished for a couple of weeks. For being complete made out of wood the machine has a rather good precision.
I also ‘finished’ (it’ll never be finished) the program to control the router. It works with HPGL (.plt) files that can be exported from CorelDraw and AutoCAD. It has been written to work with a smc800 controller from Conrad and only runs on a 1024×786 resolution, the one I use on my notebook. I uploaded it on rapidshare, you can get it here. You will need the VisualBasic runtime to make it work. And yes, it is metric and no I’m not planning to make an imperial version.
